Why drastically change a shape that is loved by most everyone? We didn’t, we just made it better. Last year’s Transcend brought a new fin technology that changed the way the board bites the water on edge. This engineering breakthrough enables you to make the molded fins longer by bolting on extensions which changes the way the board releases from the wake. For the new 2009 Transcend, we have perfected this design. The molded fins have been sharpened to reduce drag and hold a stronger edge.
Since 1962 O’Brien has put more people on the water than any other watersports company.
