About Our Company

Prince George's oldest recreational vehicle dealer NR Motors Ltd. has been serving the recreational needs of Prince George and the surrounding region for 45 years. With the new expansion of NR Motors to a second location, Northern Recreation on Continental Way just off Highway 97 south of Prince George, we have added even more RV/Motorhome brand names to our list and now showcase the largest inventory of recreational vehicles in Northern BC.

NR Motors is pretty much a family concern with Bob and Marvina Nikkel, their daughter Donna and son Greg all actively involved in the daily operation of the business. The Nikkels came to Prince George from Vancouver in 1965 when Bob was hired as a millright at Northwood Pulp and Timber. They came with the intention of staying for the long term and ended up going into business for themselves with the start up of NR Motors Ltd.

Bob Nikkel, his family and staff of forty-two, deal in dreams. With RV and Marine divisions, Suzuki Motorcycles and ATVs, John Deere Products and the Sport and Ski shop, all around recreation is their business. In this part of BC where there's no shortage of lakes and provincial parks; camping, boating and related activites are number one on many customer's lists. Having a total recreational facility and a full service and parts department to support it ensures that NR Motors can look after most recreational needs.

As a full service recreational store we have in-house financing, full service and parts departments staffed with factory trained technicians, on-site upholstery shop and a large inventory of new and pre-owned boats, four wheelers, motorcycles, motorhomes, trailers, tractors and more.
